Registrant Information

Dear Hoopla Participant,

Thank you for registering to play in the Oregon National Guard Hoopla, Oregon’s largest 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. This letter is to confirm that we have received your registration form and we look forward to having your team involved in what promises to be the best Hoopla yet!

The following, is some information that will be helpful in making your weekend an enjoyable experience:

Check-In and Schedules

  • Check-In will be conducted on Friday, July 22nd from Noon–8:00pm and on Saturday, July 23rd from 7:30am - 9:00am on Court Street in front of the Oregon State Capitol Building.
  • At this time you will receive your registration packet, which will include Promotional Items, T-shirts, and Game Schedules.
  • Game Schedules also will be posted on our website, ONGHoopla.com, no later than Thursday evening, July 21st.

Sunday Games

  • All teams advance to play on Sunday. You are responsible for knowing the correct time that your team is scheduled to play on Sunday. The Master Scoreboard will be completely updated by 9:00pm Saturday evening and this is the only source for finding out your Sunday game time. Please consult with any Hoopla Official at the Master Scoreboard for guidance as to what time you will play on Sunday.

Adding or Changing a Player

  • Player additions or changes must be done before the beginning of your 1st game on Saturday and can be done at the Tournament Check-In Tent.
  • Changing a player due to injury may be done during the weekend. To do so requires a note from the Hoopla Athletic Trainer indicating that the injured player may no longer participate and it also requires approval from a Hoopla Tournament Official. This can be done at the First Aid / Master Scoreboard area.
  • If a team is known to be using an illegal player, the entire team will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.

6 ft. and Under Division

  • All players participating in the 6 ft. and under division must be measured and their shoe tagged before their first game will begin. Any player that does not pass the height test will be disqualified from participating in this division. If a team is known to be using an illegal player, the entire team will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.

Winning Team’s Signatures

  • The winning team will be required to sign the official score sheet at the conclusion of each game. Please make sure the score and team name are correct before doing so. This will help insure that Hoopla has a correct score for each game and that Tournament Officials can correctly update the Master Scoreboard.
