become a hoopla volunteer The Oregon National Guard Hoopla is almost an entirely volunteer-driven organization. Whether it be court monitors on-site, referees who donate their pay to the event, court tape applicators, equipment transporters and set-up people, tournament competition organizers or others - literally hundreds of volunteers and thousands of volunteer hours are the engine that propels Hoopla to greatness.

If you would like information on becoming a volunteer or have a youth-oriented group or organization that would like to help and possibly be a charitable beneficiary of the event, please contact Tournament Director Jason Unruh at 503-559-1131.
